Selah Christian Ministries was established in 1992 by Howard and Deborah Brown . Our mission is to partner with churches, ministries, organizations and individuals to equip the saints for the work of ministry by providing kingdom resources that will further spiritual Revival in the Church, Evangelism through the Church, and Training for the Church to the glory of God. Howard C. Brown, the Director of Selah Christian Ministries graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Graphic Design.  
He received his Masters degree from Birmingham Theological Seminary.

Howard is a gifted conference preacher and teacher in various subjects found in the Word of God including : discipleship, evangelism, leadership training, biblical study of the human-will and spiritual gifts. His thorough knowledge of the Bible with years of practical application give him a unique perspective and an inspiring vision for how new and mature believers can be equipped for the work of ministry to fulfill God's will in their lives. His wife Deborah ministers and travels with him through prayer and counseling. Howard and Deborah joined Ambassadors for Christ International-USA in 2002 and are based in Birmingham , Alabama.

Selah Christian Ministries exists to advance God’s Kingdom on earth by implementing evangelism and discipleship teachings and trainings in churches, as well as with other ministries and individuals.  We believe that every member of the body of Christ is uniquely gifted and called into ministry.  Our goal is to equip, train and prepare them for ministry both inside and outside the walls of the Church.

Our Statement of Faith

1. We believe in the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

2. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.

4. We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and, in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought, word and deed.

5. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.

6. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate.


7. We believe in that blessed hope, the personal imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

8. We believe that all those who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.

THE MISSION:
The mission of Selah Christian Ministries is to partner with the Body of Christ to implement evangelism and discipleship ministries to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20)
THE VISION:
Our vision is to see churches, individuals and other ministries mobilized to become catalysts for movements of worldwide prayer, evangelism and discipleship. Through God’s grace we will assist in strengthening and empowering churches to go forth with the vision God has given them.
